Colorado iCrew

  • The Colorado iCrew is the brainchild of the Internet Safety Foundation.

  • The iCrew was founded by Lynn Ersek in 2007 and now has grown to eight plus members.

  • The iCrew was created to aid the Foundation in the fight against Internet-facilitated crimes against today's youth.

  • Members range from 3rd grade students to Freshman in college.  All members have been trained as Internet safety mentors by the iSAFE America organization; and have spent time working closely with the Denver Department of Justice and the Colorado Internet Crimes Against Children Taskforce.

  • Currently, the iCrew works to educate their peers via Internet safety presentations and lessons at schools, community group meetings and various other places across the state of Colorado.

  • The newest addition to the Colorado iCrew's accomplishments is their work on Internet safety podcast.  A podcast is a multimedia file that can be downloaded, free of charge, and broadcasted through a computer or similar device (i.e. iPod, MP3 Player, etc.)  The iCrew podcast covers a variety of concepts.
