Teen Event - Oct. 21, 2008

Over 160 teens, representing 30 high schools and middle schools gathered at the State Capitol for a day of Internet safety training. Sponsored by the Internet Safety Foundation and Representative Nancy Todd, the event brought together teens and experts for a day of learning about Internet safety. The morning keynote, Colorado Attorney General John Suthers was followed by workshop opportunities for teens to select. The afternoon planning session was time for schools to create action plans to take back to their communities.  With the help of the foundation, each school will now be responsible to implement their action plan.
